1. Overview
ColorVerse Lab (“the App”) is a color exploration and creativity tool available on Android and iOS. The App is developed by a private individual (“I”, “me”, or “the Developer”) and is designed to respect user privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your data.
2. Information the App Does Not Collect
The App does not collect any of the following information:
- Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, postal address)
- Photos, media, or other personal files from your device
- Precise location data (e.g., GPS)
- Contacts, calendars, or messages
- Authentication data or passwords
- Sensitive personal information
- User-generated content (e.g., images, drawings) uploaded to a server
The App does not sell or share data with any third parties.
3. Optional Analytics (User Opt-In)
3.1 Analytics Disabled by Default
Analytics are disabled by default. The App will not collect analytics data unless you explicitly enable it in settings.
When analytics are disabled:
- No usage events are logged
- No analytics identifiers are collected
- No analytics data is sent to external services
3.2 Data Collected Only When Enabled
If you choose to enable analytics, the App may collect anonymous, aggregated information such as:
- Device type and operating system version
- App version
- Non-personal usage events (e.g., which screens are opened)
- Crash reports and error logs
This data is used only to understand how the App is used and to improve stability and user experience. It does not include personal information such as your name, email, or address.
3.3 Analytics Providers
Depending on the platform, the App may rely on:
- Android: Google Play Services / Firebase Analytics
- iOS: Apple App Analytics
These services operate under their own privacy policies and terms.
4. Feedback & Feature Requests
You may optionally send feedback or request features from within the App. This might include:
- Predefined feature choices (for example, selecting from a list)
- Optional free-text comments or suggestions
If you choose to send feedback via email, your email client will handle the message and you may choose what information to include. Any information you voluntarily provide is used only to understand your feedback and improve the App.
5. In-App Purchases
The App offers optional in-app purchases, such as upgrading to a premium version or removing ads.
Purchases are processed securely by:
- Google Play Billing on Android devices
- Apple’s StoreKit on iOS devices
The App does not receive or store your payment card details. Instead, the App stores only the fact that a purchase was successfully completed (for example, a non-personal flag indicating premium access).
6. Advertising
On Android, the App may display ads using Google AdMob.
When ads are shown, AdMob may collect:
- A resettable advertising identifier
- Approximate location (e.g., country or city level)
- Anonymous ad interaction data (e.g., views or clicks)
If the App is used by children or is configured to treat all users as underage, ads are served in a way that complies with Google Play’s Families Policy and relevant child privacy regulations (such as COPPA or GDPR-K, where applicable).
7. How Data Is Used
Any data collected (for example, through optional analytics) is used only to:
- Improve app performance and stability
- Diagnose crashes and errors
- Understand which features are used
- Support in-app purchase validation
Data is never used for:
- Personalized advertising based on sensitive profiling
- Selling or renting data to third parties
- Building long-term personal usage profiles across other apps or services
8. Data Storage & Security
The App stores only minimal data, such as local preferences and premium state, directly on your device. This data can be removed at any time by uninstalling the App.
Analytics data (if enabled) and purchase metadata may be stored by Google or Apple according to their own security practices and policies.
9. Children’s Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a user is considered a child under applicable laws in their region, analytics may remain disabled by default, and any ads shown will be configured to comply with child privacy regulations and the Google Play Families Policy where relevant.
10. Your Choices
You have control over how the App behaves:
- You can enable or disable analytics at any time in the App’s settings (where available).
- You can decline to submit feedback or feature requests.
- You can reset your advertising ID from your device settings.
- You can uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data from your device.
